Following today’s VIC government Covid restriction announcement, the VIODA committee has decided to cancel this week holiday training camp and put the winter training program on pause.
It is a difficult decision as we had just started at Albert Sailing Club but a wise decision for our community’s health.
We would like to thank ASC for welcoming VIODA sailors in the past few weeks as well as the sailors, their parents, and the coaches for respecting the processes we had to put in place at the lake.
We recommend all sailors to continue to sail as much as they can at their respective club (as long as they can) respecting clubs’ guidelines.
We will be closely monitoring the government’s recommendation and we hope to resume the program as soon as we can.
In the meantime, please stay safe!
